You want to watch a documentary, while the person watching with you wants something lighter. A shared choice is about finding a relevant meeting point. It does not have to mean that everyone in the group sees each other's full history.
Entertainment connects content data to the concrete task: finding something you want to watch. Personal suggestions are a tool, and you should still be able to choose something completely different.

How subscriptions work
A film or series in your profile is one stored entry, not one AI credit. History is retained. 1,000 titles fill Basic; additional titles or entries from other services need more capacity. The final watchlist overlap rule is still to be defined.
